Tribute to Steve Jobs
Steve Jobs‘ second Apple era began with his comeback around 1996. Five years later he started a revolution with the legendary iPod which changed everything and started Apples way to be a music fashion brand and also to be the most adorable brand on planet earth. The iPod gave a complete new feeling about listening to music and also it changed the whole music business. Therefore Steve Jobs became a legend in this period at Apple.
For the iPod Apple also started one of the most successful commercial campaigns in the world. It showed a lot of colorful pictures with dancing black silhouettes in front of it. they all were dancing to the music they were listening to through their iPods and gave the viewer a special feeling about the product and its joy.
In our opinion, Steve Jobs now is in heaven but his spirit will live on. The idea behind our video is to show that his visions will stay even if he‘s gone from earth. Therefore we made a remake of the Apple iPod commercial
and transformed it. Now you can see an angel silhouette dancing like the ones in the early iPod commercials. You see how the spirit of Steve Jobs now influents „the other side“ of our lives acting and making changes in heaven. In the end you see the angel losing a feather which will complete the Apple Logo in the end. But the feather won‘t stay the Apple leave of the Logo as the viewer would expect it. It will become a gloriole above the Apple Sign and show the change but also the ongoing influence of Jobs‘ spirit in the company.
